Kurtan – beautiful village located 20km far from Stepanavan town, in the Lori region of Armenia.
East of the village, in the Hnevan gorge, is the Hnevank complex (X-XIV centuries), St. Astvatsatsin (VI centuries), “Gtevank” (VI-XVII centuries), “Hermit” (XI century) churches, “Holiness” և St. Sunday (X-XX centuries) chapels, and 2 km south-west – “Jrashen” church (X century).
So excited to finally have the opportunity to be in the village of Kurtan, which becoming more and more famous during Armenian local travelers.
