Arevatsag canyon / Արևածագի ձոր (aka: Ghachaghan Canyon, sometimes called Kurtani Dzor – Կուրթանի ձոր) is one of the most popular sightseeing places among Armenian travelers and in Armenian travel groups on social networks.
Over the past year, this unknown canyon has become so popular that one in five Armenian tourists posts photos of this place on social media.
Getting there is not an easy task. You need an off-road car and very strong nerves to be able to cross the 1 km road leading to the gorge. But to see this beauty is worth it for sure 🙂
