It’s worth stopping your drive and enjoying the calmness near the yellow water lilies lake close to Stepanavan town – Lori region of Armenia. I named it Golden Lily Lakes of Stepanavan and pinned it on Google Maps. These lakes are located near the M3 road of Stepanavan – Tashir, close to the town of Stepanavan.
Yellow water lilies (scientific name: Nuphar Luteum / Nuphar Lutea) grow in the Golden Lakes, beautifying the view of the lake and the surrounding area. The Golden Lakes are home to many wild ducks, frogs, and fish. Fishing here is convenient, considering that the lakes are located right on the edge of the Stepanavan-Tashir highway, making them easily accessible.
The location is very suitable for picnics, camping, gatherings, barbecue parties, fishing, and just for simple relaxation.
My family and I last cleaned the area, removing 8 bags of plastic and paper waste.
